Many times, when we face overwhelming circumstances, we forget that having peace of mind is our divine inheritance. Not only is our God called, "The God of Peace" (Isaiah 9:6), and His son called, "The Prince of Peace" (Romans 16:20); but the Bible calls us, "Peacemakers". It has assured us that because we are God's children, peace of mind belongs to us.
Isaiah 26:3-4 says, "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for in Jehovah, the Lord, is everlasting strength."
When Jesus found himself face-to-face with the raging seas and the boisterous winds of life, he stood his ground and declared, "PEACE BE STILL!" You too have the power to declare the peace of God over your situation, do it right now!
Whatever you are facing today, do not allow FEAR to overcome you. Encourage yourself and stand strong in the face of your adversities. Give your worries to God and allow Him to calm the winds in your life. Stop trying to figure it out! Instead, receive God's peace into your heart, body, mind, home, marriage, workplace, and wherever else you may need it.
Your Adversaries are Already Defeated
Remember, just as Jesus is the Prince of Peace, our adversary, Satan, is the author of confusion, chaos, disorder. He takes pleasure in seeing us worry about the cares of life. The good news is, Jesus Christ has already defeated him and has declared you, "The Winner!" Yes, no matter the problem, YOU WILL WIN! This is just a test! I have had my share and I can attest that God will bring you out!
The Bible says in Romans 16:20, "And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen."
Positive Confessions to Overcome Stress
Declare these words over your life today, "I will not be discouraged! I will not be dismayed! I will not live a life of stress! But I will put my trust in God! I will allow Him to work out this situation for my good! I will not worry! I have confidence that my Father already knows what I need. He will keep my heart and mind in perfect peace, through Christ Jesus! Amen!"
